Meeting

This was the second time that Shanna and I had gone to Barcelona and I was still too interested in looking at the sites rather than taking photographs, though there were a few things that caught my eye.

I think this was the first outing for my Canon EOS 350D, rather than a compact and I was still getting used to the controls and lenses.

The uphill shot is taken on the path up to Parc Güell which was designed by Antoni Gaudi and overlooks most of Barcelona, it was extremely busy even at the start of November. The squat is a local landmark and has been there for ever, well ever since we started going to Barcelona.

On this trip we decided to take an open-top bus trip around the city, and it was from the top of the bus that I noticed the meeting – was only one chance for the quick shot.
